"Scout Dragon" emerging from the ocean is

This is the story of a thoughtful dragon. He's happy in his dragon life, yet sees something in the distance that sparks curiousity. He'll probably just watch for awhile knowing he's just fine on his chosen path .

"Scout Flowers" are orange-ish in front of a dusty blue sky. 2.5"x 3.5" Acrylic paint on w/c paper.

Artists for a Better Day Aug. 14

August 14 is noted as a day for artists. Do something creative, give it away,

inspire others to be creative.

I am diligently getting my work into galleries again. I've been painting and drawing for the last few years while galleries closed around me. Now it's time to get back in the mix and promote

my work again. Am looking for galleries in

Atlanta, Charlotte, New York, Asheville, Birmingham and possibly Santa Fe or Taos.

Art History Studies

I am having so much fun
studying "The Dawn of Civilisation". Keeping up with art + history studies. And then ... drawing in between.
Taking the edge off headiness... Drawing abstract drawings and signing them "Scout". "Scout" because they are so different
from me. Yet still me....

"Lavender Landscape" painting used as product labelling for Carolina Morning Designs

Sept. 27-29, 2007 was the Expo East , Natural Foods Convention in Baltimore, Md. Carolina Morning Designs is now using my painting "Lavender Landscape" in their product design. Linsi Deyo, my longtime friend, founder of Carolina Morning Designs, and her husband, Patrick Clark, commissioned and collaborated with me to do this painting for their meditation and yoga products. PEACE POSTCARDS

My PEACE POSTCARDS will be exhibited and sold along with hundreds of others at Haus Studio in downtown Atlanta.
310 Peters St. on Sept. 21, the International Day of Peace. Where all nations are to honour a ceasefire. The opening
reception is from 7-10pm and the cards will continue to be exhibited and sold the following week until Sept. 29.
